Pablo Uribe has had nine solo exhibitions and taken part in over thirty group exhibitions in Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, France, Peru, Sweden and Venezuela.
He has represented Uruguay on several occasions: the Mercosur Biennial (1999 and 2003); the Buenos Aires Engraving Biennial (2000); the VII Havana Biennial (2000); and the Regional Art Encounter (Montevideo, 2007).
In 2009 he represented Uruguay on the 53 Biennial Venice (Italy), and V Biennial Ventosul, Curitiba (Brazil).
He was invited to the II Multimedia Art Festival (Interferences) in Belfort, France and selected by the organizing committee to take part in the Carte Blanche.
He won the Paul Cezanne Prize in 2002; the Grand Prize at the 49th Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales in 2001; the Grand Prize at the MAAM (Museo de Arte Americano de Maldonado) Biennial in 2001; and First Prize at the Premio Banco Hipotecario in 1999.
In 2003 he won a scholarship from the French Embassy to develop a project as artist in residence in Besançon, France (2003).
In 2006 he produced the video installation Saludos at the Centro Cultural Florencio Sánchez; and the intervention Entre dos luces at the Museo Blanes, where he worked exclusively with works belonging to the museum.
